Privacy Policy & Subscription Terms for Crux Parans & Crux Parans Pro

This Privacy Policy describes how Crux Parans and Crux Parans Pro (collectively, the "Application") handle user data and subscription services. The Application is designed as a standalone, serverless utility to prioritize user privacy and data security.

1. Information Collection and Storage (Complete Serverless Architecture)

 Local Storage Only: All client data, including names, birthdates, geographical coordinates, genealogical/astrological timeline events, and personal notes, are processed and stored exclusively on your device's local storage (and your personal iCloud backup if enabled).

 No External Servers: We do not operate any external web servers, databases, or cloud storage for your client data. Your data never leaves your device.

 No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, monitor, track, or upload any personally identifiable information (PII) or financial data to ourselves or any third parties.

2. Third-Party Services and Financial Transactions

 App Store In-App Purchases: All financial transactions, subscriptions, and payment processing are handled securely and directly by Apple Inc. via the App Store framework. We do not have access to, nor do we store, your credit card details or billing information.

3. Auto-Renewing Subscriptions (Crux Parans Pro)

 Subscription Duration and Pricing: Crux Parans Pro offers a monthly auto-renewing subscription at $69.99/month to unlock premium features. A 3-day free trial is available for first-time subscribers.

 Automatic Renewal: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase or at the end of the 3-day free trial period. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

 Subscription Management and Cancellation: You can manage, change, or cancel your subscriptions at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Cancellation cannot be processed directly within the Application.

 No Refunds: Subscriptions cannot be refunded or prorated once billed. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to all Pro features until the end of the current billing cycle.

4. Data Export Functionality 

When you use the  data export features (such as exporting to CSV or PDF), the files are generated locally within the Application's temporary sandbox directory. They are transferred only when you explicitly trigger the iOS system share sheet (e.g., via AirDrop, Email, or Files app).
