Terms of Service & Subscription Terms for Alpheratz Lab Apps

1. Introduction

Welcome to the applications developed by Alpheratz Lab ("we," "us," or "our"), including Crux Parans / Crux Parans Pro, The Heirloom Clock, AstroShield OS, and LUNIS (each referred to as the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable platform terms (including the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) or Solana dApp Store policies, depending on your device and installation method). If you do not agree, please do not use the Apps.

2. Purchases, Subscriptions & Payments

All premium features, data access, and continuous tools within our Apps are processed securely via the designated payment platform for your device or build version:

- Apple App Store / Google Play: In-App Purchases and Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as specified at the time of purchase. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account upon confirmation of purchase.

  - Crux Parans Pro: Monthly Subscription ($49.99 / month) | Annual Subscription ($399.99 / year)

  - The Heirloom Clock: Monthly Subscription ($2.99 / month)

 - AstroShield OS: Monthly Subscription ($2.99 / month)

- LUNIS: Monthly Subscription ($2.99 / month)

- Solana dApp Store / Decentralized Applications: Purchases or passes may be processed via Solana blockchain transactions (including USDC or supported SPL tokens) using connected Solana wallets (e.g., Phantom). Transactions on the Solana network are final and subject to blockchain confirmation.

3. Auto-Renewing Subscriptions & Free Trial (In-App Purchases)

For recurring subscriptions purchased via traditional App Stores:

Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. If a free trial is offered, your account will be automatically charged the subscription fee immediately upon completion of the trial period, unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the trial ending. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Management, Cancellation & Refunds

- For App Store / Google Play Purchases: You can manage your subscriptions, view billing cycles, and turn off automatic renewal at any time by going to your device's account settings (e.g., iPhone System Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions) after purchase. Cancellations and refunds are handled exclusively through the respective platform framework and store refund policies.

- For Blockchain Transactions (USDC / Solana): On-chain transactions are irreversible due to the nature of distributed ledger technology. Please verify transaction details before approving via your wallet.

5. Restore Purchases

If you reinstall any App or change compatible devices, you can restore your active premium subscription or unlocked status by tapping the "Restore Purchases" (or equivalent wallet reconnect) button on the paywall or settings screen inside the respective App.

6. Serverless Operation, Calculation Models & No Warranties

Our Apps operate entirely on a serverless, local-first (100% offline standalone) architecture. All astronomical data processing, calculations, and local outputs are computed entirely on your physical device.

Astronomical and astrological calculations are performed based on standard algorithmic models (including Swiss Ephemeris integrations and Brady's Paran theory). Minor variations may occur compared to other software due to differences in coordinate systems, Delta T, or epoch models.

We provide the Apps "as is" and make no warranties, explicit or implied, regarding continuous availability, mathematical precision, astrological interpretations, or complete financial or personal fitness of the data provided. All outputs are strictly for educational, historical, and personal research purposes. Under no circumstances shall Alpheratz Lab be liable for any decisions, consulting practices, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Apps.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our Apps following any updates signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
